are Discovery Tours for women who want to embrace and explore their travel curiosity in the comfort of a group of like-minded female travellers. Women of all ages and backgrounds come together to share an incredible journey through the magical land that is India. What makes a Travelling Tigress Tour so much fun are the activities build around travel and what women want. Shopping and meandering the local markets in search for jewellery, fabrics and handicrafts, going to the beauty parlour and getting a mani-padicure, sipping on cocktails during group dinners and exchanging travel stories. Creating friendships that last forever.
Take your time to adjust to the hustle and bustle of the impressive capital of India-New Delhi. Our itinerary will start from tomorrow. We believe having a moment to relax after a flight is important to start fresh the next day. Later in the evening we will meet up at the hotel lobby for a quick introduction and will head off to have our first meal together.
Day 2 -3
Delhi is a very busy city and is divided into Old and New Delhi. First thing on the list is a slum tour. With the success of the Slum tour in Mumbai we have decided to do a tour in Delhi as well. Discover the life of the people who live in Baljeet Nagar slum from guides who actually live there The old and new parts of Delhi will unfold as we hop in and out of local transport. The evening is free to do in as you please.

Day 4 -5
Overland transport from Delhi to Agra will use up some hours of our day. Arriving in Agra in the afternoon we will make our way to see the sunset at the Taj Mahal where we will witness one of the 7th wonders of the world, the mausoleum of everlasting love for wife Mumtaz Mahal. The next morning you could opt in for an extra morning tour to the Taj Mahal at a quieter time of day and visit Agra fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is a ghost city from the 16th century that resembles Mughal finest architecture. We will be welcomed to stay with a family and their lovely home stay close to the Taj Mahal.

Bundi, it is here where the contemporary and quieter village life shows her glory and where Ruyard Kipling spend many years. We will enjoy this picturesque blue coloured village in remembrance of the Rajput’s who used to thrive here. A visit to Bundi Palace is a must.

A great wall in India? At a small village called Kumbhalgarh is a 200 year old fort that reminds us a lot of The Great wall of China. Walking the total length off the wall will take us around 4hr and it is quite a challenge. I’m up for a challenge what about you? The stay for the night will be a royal night at this HRH hotel.
Climbing the steps of Kumbhalgarh fort to included some exercise and a stunning view
Not far from Kumbhalgarh lays Ranakpur tucked away in the Aravalli hills where a 17th century Jain temple was built. In our opinion this is the finest Jain temple in India after Palitana. It would be a shame to pass this as we are so close. Rajastahan is all about rural villages, incredible Haveli’s and stunning views.
